The Be You showcases offers young performers in Baltimore paid opportunities to perform.

These activities are held to give young people the chance to network, get exposed to new things, gain experiences, and find a safe outlet for their emotions. At this gathering, the community gathers together to enjoy live music performed by young musicians. This event will highlight talented young people and record their performance so that they can later utilize it to market themselves.

Tayonna Jackson, a local artist in Baltimore who performs under the stage name TayyBandz, noticed that young people did not feel like they had a safe space to express their creativity and realized that something needed to change. Be You Impact on Youth

Youth as young as 9 have performed at the Be You Showcase. Traveling as far as Norton, Ohio because in her hometown there are no exposure opportunities to network and enjoy positive vibes. With some up and coming local artists Be You gives each artist near or far the opportunity to showcase their talent, while not worrying about violence and negative vibes.
